Portrait in a Landscape - Original Watercolour Ink Painting on PaperAn original surreal portrait painting on paper, using vibrant watercolour inks. A brown haired woman wearing bright red is in a garden or imagined landscape with trees and bushes, made more atmospheric with two moons in a dark blue sky. For my portraits I like to work stream-of-conciousness, a surrealist technique to connect more with the subconscious. I like to see where and artwork goes and develops rather than rigidly controlling the outcome. I find this a surprising and intuitive way to work, creating mystery and narrative, often like a story untold, with characters in a scene. This piece is approximately A4 and on paper, so is a convenient size for framing. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and will be sent in a box for safe transport. Free delivery in the UK. Please visit Saatchi Art.com/KittyCoooper for international delivery. For Island delivery or collection please get in touch. Thank you, Kitty
