Lily Garden - Original Acrylic Portrait Painting on Canvas

An original surreal portrait painting on stretched canvas, using acrylic paints. A brown haired woman wearing textured blue is in a garden or park with a lily pond behind her and trees and bushes behind. For my portraits I like to work stream-of-conciousness, a surrealist technique to connect more with the subconscious. I like to see where an artwork goes and develops rather than rigidly controlling the outcome. I find this a surprising and intuitive way to work, creating mystery and narrative, often like a story untold, with characters in a scene. This piece is 61 x 76 cm on stretched canvas, so is personal preference to frame or can be hung directly on the wall. (I do not paint the sides) It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and will be sent well wrapped in a large strong box for safe transport.
