Verdant Forest - Original Watercolour Ink Landscape Painting

Original contemporary impressionist landscape painting in watercolour ink on A4 2mm artboard.

Inspired by Parkhurst Forest on the Isle of Wight where I live. I love the English countryside and the magical beauty of the forest, especially in the bright light of summer. I begin by blocking in the main shapes and then refining slowly with smaller and smaller brushes, finishing with a size 1 for the little details. I try to capture the light, mystery and beauty of nature. I'm fascinated by trees and woodlands, so they feature regularly in my landscape paintings.

This artwork will require framing.
