Castle Lane - Original. Acrylic Painting on Wood

Original contemporary impressionist landscape painting in acrylic paint on wood.

Inspired by Castle Lane in Carisbrooke, on the Isle of Wight.

Measures 50 x 60 x 0.5 cm.

Inspired by the landscape on the Isle of Wight where I live. I love the English countryside and the magical beauty of the forest, especially in the bright light of summer. I begin by blocking in the main shapes and then refining slowly with smaller and smaller brushes, finishing with a size 1 for the little details. I try to capture the light, mystery and beauty of nature. I'm fascinated by trees and woodlands, so they feature regularly in my landscape paintings.

Securely wrapped in a sturdy cardboard box, tracked and free delivery in UK.

Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
