Countryside - Original Acrylic Landscape Painting on Canvas

Original contemporary impressionist landscape painting in acrylic paint on stretched canvas.

The artwork measures 61 x 76 x 1.5 cm.

Inspired by Parkhurst Forest on the Isle of Wight where I live. I love the English countryside and the magical beauty of the forest, especially in the bright light of summer. I begin by blocking in the main shapes and then refining slowly with smaller and smaller brushes, finishing with a size 1 for the little details. I try to capture the light, mystery and beauty of nature. I'm fascinated by trees and woodlands, so they feature regularly in my landscape paintings.

As I do not paint the edges, you may wish to frame this painting but being on stretched canvas it can hang automatically on the wall.

Painted on Arta Studio 17mm Cotton Stretched Canvas, 380 gsm canvas stretched over a pine wood frame, universally primed, and comes with tension wedges for archival quality.

Securely wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap, encased in a sturdy recycled cardboard box, tracked and free delivery in UK.
