Woodland - Original Oil Painting on Canvas

Original contemporary impressionist landscape painting in oil paint on A4 size canvas.

Inspired by woodland on the Isle of Wight where I live. I love the English countryside and the magical beauty of the forest, especially in the bright light of summer. I begin by blocking in the main shapes and then refining slowly with smaller and smaller brushes, finishing with a size 1 for the little details. I try to capture the light, mystery and beauty of nature. I'm fascinated by trees and woodlands, so they feature regularly in my landscape paintings.

As this painting is on a piece of canvas it will need framing.
